With your strong organizational and administrative skills, you coordinate monthly patient follow up activities, assist with cancer conference preparation and ensure patient medical information is correctly maintained. Responsibilities Coordinates all activities pertaining to monthly patient follow up activities as defined by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Assists with case finding activities as required. Assists with cancer conference preparation activities and data requests as needed. Qualifications Education: Associate's degree in health information management or in related health sciences equivalent experience in a directly related field. Experience: Two years of experience in the medical field using electronic medical records. Experience in hospital based cancer registry or central cancer registry preferred. Skills: Strong background in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in use of computerized data systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong background in use of electronic medical record, EPIC EMR preferred. Highly Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Cancer Registry procedures and Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons standards preferred. Use of registry software system preferred. .
