EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

At GP Cannabis we are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and customer service, along with a desire to educate and assist customers in selecting the right products for their needs. The Cannabis Sales Associate will ensure a positive shopping experience, maintain product knowledge, and uphold store standards.

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

• Stay up-to-date with current cannabis products, trends, and industry developments.
• Participate in training sessions and product knowledge workshops.
• Share knowledge with team members to ensure consistent information is provided to customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must have or be able to obtain Selling It Right Certificate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
