Description ****Average hourly rate is $23.49 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.)**** The CANS Assessor supports child-centered care within the Texas Child-Centered Care System by conducting assessments, guiding staff, and improving placement processes. Key duties include: Conducting Assessments: Performing CANS interviews in various settings and coordinating interpreter services. Documentation: Recording data in eCANS and DFPS IMPACT systems. Staff Support: Sharing results, resolving disputes, and providing training materials. Policy Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulations and serving as a subject matter expert. Continuous Improvement: Participating in CQI initiatives and monitoring assessment timelines. Client Safety: Upholding safety standards and client rights.
