Canteen Supervisor – Evening Shift (4:00pm–11:30pm) Shercock, Co. Cavan | Full‑time | Facilities Department We are currently seeking a Canteen Supervisor to join our team on a fixed evening shift (4:00pm–11:30pm). This role is ideal for someone organised, hands‑on, and committed to maintaining a high‑quality, welcoming canteen environment for employees. You will oversee the smooth and efficient running of the canteen during evening operations, ensuring cleanliness, stock control, excellent service, and effective supervision of canteen operatives. What You’ll Do Oversee the setup, service, and closing‑down procedures for the evening shift. Monitor stock levels and ensure correct storage (FIFO/FEFO). Maintain high hygiene standards and ensure operatives follow PPE procedures. Supervise and support canteen operatives during the evening shift. Support training and onboarding of new team members. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience in food service, hospitality, or facilities operations. Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. Experience supervising or coordinating a small team. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to follow and enforce detailed SOPs. Good communication skills. Desirable HACCP or food safety training/certification. Experience as a canteen lead, kitchen supervisor, or similar role.
