OVERVIEW

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Canvassers and Home Shows. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the community, promoting our initiatives, and gathering valuable feedback. A successful Canvasser needs to present his/her employer’s products, services or ideas to the widest number of people. This requires excellent communication skills, customer service and marketing knowledge. They also need to love traveling, have an in-depth knowledge of the offer and be persuasive.

SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information and engage with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in customer service or telemarketing is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently when needed.
  • Supervisory experience is advantageous for those looking to take on leadership roles in future campaigns.
  • Familiarity with home improvement projects can enhance effectiveness in this role.

    Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing to raise awareness about our programs and initiatives.
  • Memorize and recite sales scripts and statements prepared and provided by the employer.
  • Go door-to-door to introduce the employer’s offers to potential and existing customers and make pitches.
  • Engage with community members to provide information, answer questions, and help with their home improvement needs.
  • Confidently answer questions and rebuff excuses to meet objectives
  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for outreach and engagement.
  • Utilize customer service skills to create a positive experience for all interactions.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance canvassing techniques and improve communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and report back on outcomes and insights gained from the community.
