What you’ll be doing: In this role, you will bring the Full Operating Capability Programme together through a clear, well‑structured integrated schedule, giving teams visibility of what’s coming and helping optimise timelines against contracted commitments. You will embed a practical Defence Lines of Development (TEPIDOIL) approach, making sure training, equipment, people, infrastructure, doctrine, organisation, information and logistics are all planned into each capability enhancement. You will explore potential capability upgrades beyond the core programme, working with Engineering and wider stakeholders to understand feasibility. You’ll play an involved role in supporting two Engineering professionals as part of the programme delivery team whilst also playing an engaged part in supporting collaboration with Eurofighter partners, European organisations and the UK MOD Qatar Air Programmes Office to keep capability delivery aligned and connected. Core duties: You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of project‑focused tools, techniques and practices, plus solid awareness of Commercial and Finance functions. You have an understanding of Typhoon and/or Fast Jet development, production and in‑service support Illustrate your experience contributing to capability delivery using Defence Lines of Development (DLoD). The Qatar Operating Capability Team: The team underpins the success of the Qatar Programme by integrating new aircraft capability into the existing Qatar fleet. Working across UK and Qatar operations, the team connects programme teams and UK capability groups to deliver smooth, coordinated and future‑focused capability development. Why BAE Systems?
