Job Description: We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Leader to lead the development and growth of our technical capabilities across software development, quality assurance, DevOps and PM/PMO teams. This role is central to ensuring our talent, practices, tools, and delivery processes continuously evolve to meet business goals and expectations. You will be responsible for attracting the best talent from the market and you will act as a bridge between delivery, talent development, and business leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Capability Development & Strategy Define, implement, and evolve the capability roadmap aligned with organizational goals. Identify emerging trends, tools, and practices, and assess their relevance to internal teams and business needs. Establish and maintain skill matrices and capability benchmarks. Lead Egypt capability managers and coach them to foster a collaboration culture within all capabilities. Team Growth & Mentorship Forecast talent pipeline in terms of strategic growth and readiness. Collaborate with People/HR to attract, develop, and retain top technical talent. Recruiting the best talent from market. Design and oversee learning & development programs (upskilling, certifications, mentoring). Lead communities of practice and foster a knowledge-sharing culture. Quality & Delivery Excellence Support teams in adopting modern engineering and delivery practices (AI, Agile, DevOps). Drive adoption of consistent standards, frameworks, and reusable assets across teams. Monitor and improve engineering maturity and delivery effectiveness. Stakeholder Engagement Partner with delivery leads, account managers, and technical leadership to assess team readiness and capability alignment with business needs. Act as a capability advisor in client-facing engagements where needed. Metrics & Reporting Define KPIs to measure capability growth, team health, and productivity. Deliver regular reports and insights to senior leadership on capability status and impact. Qualifications: Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in software engineering, delivery leadership, or technical coaching roles. Proven experience in capability management, technical mentoring, or engineering excellence programs. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of modern software delivery lifecycle, including Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working across cross-functional teams and geographies. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability. Familiarity with tools for knowledge management, capability tracking, and performance measurement. Preferred Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or technical coaching.
