Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia’s future.    Downer Professional Services is comprised of two business units, our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice and Team Downer, a major service partner to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for our clients in Defence and National Security.   We currently have an opportunity for a Capability Manager in Canberra to work as a Trials and Governance Lead on JP947 project in Defence. You will be providing support to Joint Data Networks(JDN) by delivering coordinated capability, governance and trial management activities to enable the delivery of JDN capability.    This role offers a broad scope, with key role responsibilities including:   * Providing capability management support for the planning, coordination, and execution of trials, ensuring alignment with emerging requirements. * Lead the development, maintenance, and publication of JDN governance artefacts. * Support the JDN Project Team in the development of project artefacts. * Provide Capability management expertise leveraging experience with the One Defence Capability System (ODCS). * Advice and guidance on tactical data link considerations. * Coordination across technical, operational, and stakeholder groups. What You’ll Bring    * Demonstrated experience in communication, networks, Satcom and radio networks within CASG. * Strong experience engaging with defence stakeholders, system administrators and industry partners.   Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain an AGSVA Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. Responsibilities
