How you'll make an impact Tasked with developing training content to meet the needs of company and/or to improve upon the quality of existing content, the Senior Claims Trainer will be responsible for analyzing training needs, designing courses, and facilitating learning initiatives as well as training facilitation. Key responsibilities include; Consulting with management to identify training needs and to ensure course content, training methodologies, and training materials meet those needs, Identifying appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, nature of training being delivered, audience location, point within the learning process, and engages in needs assessments, course content development, program assessments, and participant testing/evaluations. Coordinates with onboarding specialists to deliver structured training to new hires, both trainees and experienced hires. Further responsibilities include: Conducting New-Hire training, Developing and administering tools to measure effectiveness of training programs, Making recommendations based on measurements to improve quality of training programs, and Assisting in sourcing third party training vendors. Works closely with Claim Operations leaders to coordinate all training engagement planning and development. May provide one-on-one and small group teaching support to End Users. As a claims handling subject matter expert, serves as on-site mentor and coach. About you Required: Bachelors degree; Minimum 5 years of Property and Casualty claims handling experience and technical/systems training experience. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal). Writing skills with ability to design and write training materials. Proficient computer and software (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills required. Extensive travel required. Ability to travel, as needed. Preferred: Deep understanding of Risx-Facs highly desirable. Experience presenting/training in classroom/WebEx environment. Demonstrated knowledge of effective training/instructional techniques and adult learning. Behaviors: Effectively communicates at all levels. Ability to quickly respond to changing business needs, deliver training programs and ensure that best practices are utilized.
