Description
This position is based at our Greenwood, SC facility. Note: This is located at the Emerald Road facility. The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in slitting, cutting and folding major insulation paper. They must be able to work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter and Production Supervisor to maintain Safety, Production and Quality requirements. Review and follow daily work schedule Communicate schedule needs to Job Setter to ensure needed material is on hand and verify inventories Check specifications and necessary drawings for proper machine set ups Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers and other small hand tools as needed Train and assist others as needed Meet department goals for Safety and Productivity Ensure compliance to Quality Procedures -Follow all Visual Operating Procedures (VOP) You will complete 5S+ activities daily. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Corporate Sponsorship Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Greenwood, South Carolina - no relocation will be provided for this role. 1 year manufacturing experience
