Capacity Manager | Sutton Coldfield | Full time 37.5 hours | Competitive Salary and Great benefits Spire Little Aston Hospital has an exciting opportunity available for a Capacity Manager to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis.. As Capacity Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the utilisation and allocation of theatre and outpatient clinic sessions to maximise the number of patients seen and treated and revenues generated. You will be working closely with Senior Management Team, Hospital Heads of Departments and Consultants to deliver short and long term business achievement, contributing to the hospital’s overall success. Duties and Responsibilities Optimise Theatre utilisation by proactively managing session capacity working collaboratively with Theatres, Wards, POA and Imaging departments. Optimise Outpatient capacity to allow for increased utilisation and enabling access to consultants to ensure maximum throughput. Produce monthly reports for SMT for key KPI’s. Such as, Theatre utilisation, clinic utilisation and conversion rates. Monitor and evaluate future capacity resources against demand, and where demand outstrips capacity, develop and lead on securing additional capacity. Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders such as Consultants, NHS partners, business Development team and central team. Support effective operational governance through capacity meetings, escalation of consultant concerns, updates to SMT, mentoring of schedulers, and coordination of theatre PPM downtime. Supervise NHS contractual compliance ensuring accurate data collection and efficient pathways for patients.
