EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering field.
- Other useful credentials and training include CPIM and Six Sigma.
- 10+ years of experience in supply and capacity planning, in either industrial, automotive, or complex FCMG environments.
- Solid Understanding of SAP and reporting tools – SAP BI
- Capacity Planning Tools, Distribution Network & Processes
- Manufacturing network knowledge
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE:
IPEX is transforming its Operations with a deeper collaboration across Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Logistics. As part of this, we are maturing our capacity planning capabilities. We are seeking someone passionate about managing the Supply Chain transformation processes.
This role reports to the Director of End-to-end Planning and will have close working relationships with Manufacturing, Logistics, and Engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead North American network capacity planning analysis for the mid/long range horizon. Ensure the integration from short-term outlook to full LTCP horizon.
- Develop and lead modeling tools such as IBP tools that predict capacity needs and identify possible constraints. Incorporates strategic network optimization inputs, forecasts/growth rates, SKU complexity, facility performance, labor inputs, relevant costing, and other variables while collaborating with manufacturing and engineering.
- Develop monthly RCCPs, Quarterly/Bi-annual LTCP (depending on the network), and monthly warehousing capacity updates.
- Identify risks and opportunities to capacity and relevant impact.
- Lead monthly capacity updates and quarterly deep dive reviews at the monthly Supply Review.
- Support analysis and planning for strategic projects, innovation plans, inventory build/level loading scenarios, make/buy recommendations, and other insights to ensure network sustainability.
- Establish key performance indicators, to measure the efficiency of supply capacity.
- Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to ensure team members have the skills and resources needed to succeed in their roles.
