Operation Kindness Humane Society is seeking a Capital Campaign Manager to join our team! Details about the Role: REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the Chief of Staff POSITION OVERVIEW: The Capital Campaign Manager serves as the operational leader and project manager for Operation Kindness Humane Society’s Capital Campaign. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this position serves as the campaign’s central coordinator, ensuring alignment and execution across Operation Kindness leadership, Allyn Media, the Capital Campaign Committee, Board leadership, and campaign volunteers. This role functions as the campaign “quarterback,” driving timelines, coordinating donor engagement activities, preparing leadership for fundraising efforts, maintaining campaign systems and reporting, and ensuring accountability across campaign priorities. The Capital Campaign Manager plays a critical role in supporting campaign governance, donor engagement preparation, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing complex initiatives, and possesses the ability to bring structure, accountability, and momentum to a multi-year fundraising campaign. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Campaign Operations and Execution * Serve as the primary internal coordinator for the capital campaign, ensuring effective execution of campaign priorities and initiatives. * Maintain campaign timelines, workplans, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are advanced. * Coordinate campaign implementation activities across internal teams, leadership, consultants, and volunteers. * Track campaign progress and maintain accountability systems to support successful execution. * Coordinate campaign forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking. * Support campaign budget monitoring and administrative processes. Donor Strategy and Engagement Support * Coordinate donor meetings, cultivation activities, and campaign-related scheduling. * Prepare donor briefing materials, meeting packets, prospect profiles, and background documents. * Maintain donor prospect lists and moves management systems. * Track donor engagement activity, next steps, and follow-up actions. * Support campaign stewardship efforts, including recognition opportunities, donor communications, and stewardship materials. * Participate in donor meetings as appropriate to support logistics, documentation, and follow-up (not a primary solicitor role). Campaign Committee and Board Support * Coordinate Capital Campaign Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, materials preparation, note-taking, and follow-up. * Support Campaign Committee leadership and volunteers in advancing campaign priorities. * Prepare campaign reports, dashboards, and updates for executive leadership, Campaign Committee, and Board audiences. * Maintain action item tracking and accountability for campaign-related meetings and initiatives. Campaign Reporting and Administration * Track campaign pledges, commitments, payment schedules, and donor records. * Maintain campaign databases, reporting systems, and documentation. * Generate campaign reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. * Ensure data accuracy, record integrity, and timely reporting. * Coordinate campaign documentation and record retention. Cross-Departmental Coordination * Serve as the primary liaison between Operation Kindness departments, campaign leadership, volunteers, and external campaign partners. * Coordinate with Development, Marketing and Communications, Accounting, Operations, and external consultants to support campaign execution. * Help maintain consistency in campaign messaging, materials, and organizational alignment. * Support internal communication regarding campaign progress, milestones, and priorities. General Responsibilities * Maintain client, donor, volunteer, staff, and organizational confidentiality at all times.  * Follow all organizational policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.  * Participate in staff meetings and organizational initiatives as requested.  * Performs other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree required. Experience Requirements * 3-5 years of experience in project management, campaign operations, development operations, executive support, nonprofit administration, or a related field. * Experience supporting senior leadership, boards, committees, or complex organizational initiatives strongly preferred. * Strong project management, organizational, and coordination skills. * Experience with CRM systems, reporting, and data tracking preferred. * Experience in nonprofit fundraising, capital campaigns, or development operations preferred.
