Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards Support the Capital Data Governance Council comprised of senior stakeholders in governance charged with overseeing data-related activities impacting Capital. Conduct Root Cause Analysis of identified Data Issues impacting Capital data. Data Issue management throughout the lifecycle of the issue, maintaining related metadata and collating updates and reports for senior management. Analyzing and interpreting datasets in spreadsheets, summarizing and presenting findings to management. Preparing high quality materials for multiple internal forums. Support the cataloguing effort of the Capital Data Glossary in support of its consumers (Capital Data Quality Controls team, Future consumers of data from the Capital Fleet, Auditors) Deliver ongoing compliance with the Firmwide and Regulatory Data Quality standards. Working with global colleagues to build and document internal processes and controls, identifying opportunities for ongoing data quality improvement. Data Quality Management and Metadata experience. Working knowledge of Data Governance principles. Financial product and regulatory reporting knowledge (Capital calculation specific preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with various levels throughout the organization adjusting details to audience expectations. Awareness of Data Warehousing principles, experience using databases and SQL queries preferred. Attention to detail. 3+ years of professional experience. Strong Microsoft application skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
