DESCRIPTION:

As the Sales Engineer for our Automated Measurement Systems Group, you will be responsible for promoting and selling CMM’s, Portable Measuring Systems, Vision/MultiSensor Measurement Systems, Industrial CT Systems and other state of the art metrology devices. The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue goals, day-to-day management of the defined territory, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure we are meeting our customer needs in a timely fashion and to the highest of standards.
This individual should maintain a high standard of their work and provide leadership in the areas of product knowledge, demonstration capabilities, sales professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and metrology preferred
  • Travel requirements – up to 50%.
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering.
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for assigned territory.
  • Generate sales revenues by performing demonstrations of company products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Act as a consultant to the customer by evaluating customer needs and developing corresponding solutions across multiple aspects of the customer’s requirements.
  • Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
  • Work collaboratively with all available resources including Applications Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales and others to identify, advance, and close sales.
  • Act as point of contact and provide support to customers before and after the sale.
  • Assist management in developing sales strategies and tactics
  • Monitor local market and customer trends, as well as industry developments
