CAPITAL MACHINERY INDUSTRIAL SALES – DANDENONG SOUTH

Asset Plant & Machinery (Steelmaster Industrial) are currently sourcing an Industrial Capital Machinery Sales Role who has a real passion for Industrial B2B Sales. This is an opportunity to utilise your current skills, develop new ones and experience with a national industrial B2B supplier that focuses on your growth and development.
Due to our growth, we are strengthening our Capital Machinery Sales Team and welcome candidates that feel this this role will suit.
This is a pivotal role reporting to senior management. You will be working directly within a small ~ medium flexible but proactive team -supporting new and existing customers within our busy sales department.
Activities include trade counter and showroom sales, telephone sales and some digital marketing / E commerce sales. (All leads will be provided by company)
Asset Plant and Machinery have been supplying quality workshop machinery, supporting Australia’s metalworking industry, since 1996. As one of Australia’s largest stockist and suppliers of machinery, we have a range of quality accessories to suit all our machines, alongside an extensive range of spare parts . Steelmaster Industrial is a trusted and leading brand in engineering, metalworking and sheetmetal machinery . You will be supported with an excellent range of floor stock ready to go! Machinery, Parts & Accessories with majority of the sales based on “off The Floor / Existing Stock Sales” along with some order in products from time to time.
You will be dedicated to working and growing in our industry and willing to learn or expand your skills in sales and customer service.
If successful, you will provide high-quality customer service and contribute to a sales culture in a trade direct facility. You will ensure customer satisfaction through your exemplary product knowledge, customer service and ability to offer solutions.
We prefer the following attributes:
o Self-starter, results driven who can sell.
o Team player that can also encompass and stimulate those around them
o Computer skills and preferred basic understanding of social and digital marketing (preferred but not pivotal)
o Basic understanding of mechanical systems (preferable). Ongoing product training will be provided.
o Drivers licence
You will be responsible for:
o Capital machinery sales
o Processing sales transactions
o Providing advice, information and feedback on products
o Handling customer queries and offering solutions
o Maintaining showroom displays
