Our client, Aspen Insurance, is seeking a Capital Management Analyst to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of key objectives within the Capital Management team, with a focus on data manipulation, collation and analysis. The successful candidate will support the completion of actual and projected capital models, provide consultancy support for new initiatives, develop tools for strategic decision-making, and assist in preparing presentations for the Board and external stakeholders.
What you’ll do:
As a Capital Management Analyst at Aspen Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the completion of actual and projected capital models. You will be responsible for providing report development and preparing Excel/Power BI modelling outputs for various stakeholders. Your role will also involve assisting in the preparation of quarterly inputs/outputs of relevant Regulatory models. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ad-hoc capital projects aimed at supporting our strategic objectives. Your ability to work proactively and unsupervised will be crucial in this role.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Capital Management Analyst position at Aspen Insurance brings strong technical, quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills to the table. You are proficient with Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level) and PowerPoint, and have a solid academic background with good GCSE and A/AS Level grades, ideally having studied a numerical subject to A Level. You hold a Bachelor’s Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a numeric discipline. Your previous experience within the (re)insurance industry and familiarity with capital models will be highly advantageous.
