The Capital Markets Analytics Analyst plays a pivotal role in helping organizations make data-driven decisions on capital strategy, investment, and risk. Leveraging advanced analytics and modeling tools, this person generates insights that inform capital market behavior and support key teams such as treasury, risk, investment banking, and compliance.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Economics or Finance
  • Must possess strong technical acumen in SQL and Tableau; Python is a Plus
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel without use of a mouse, PowerPoint); familiarity with Databricks
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines; comfortable working on a lean team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with structured finance and capital markets
  • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and eagerness to learn
  • Knowledge of consumer finance concepts, including credit risk modeling, loan lifecycle, and performance metrics
    Compensation: $110,000 - $115,000 annually, plus bonus

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and capital market conditions to guide strategic financial decisions. Monitor regulatory developments and integrate them into capital modeling and reporting.
  • Maintain financial models for valuation, forecasting capital transactions and scenario simulations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive research reports, dashboards and presentations conveying insights to senior stakeholders or clients.
  • Communicate complex technical findings clearly and persuasively across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Partner with Treasury, Risk Management, and Business Intelligence to maintain data integrity and improve workflow.
