CAPITAL MARKETS DATA LEAD - GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Capital Markets Data Lead - Governance and Compliance for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

CAPITAL MARKETS DATA LEAD - GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Data Lead will spearhead data management activities for specific Asset Classes and Data Domains, focusing on delivering the data governance program. This project involves auditing for OSFI/data governance deliverables for the bank.

CAPITAL MARKETS DATA LEAD - GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 3-5 years applicable experience
• Experience with data quality, metadata, and data governance
• Capital markets experience
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to convert technical language into simple terms
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
• Strong working experience with MS Suite (Excel, Visio)

CAPITAL MARKETS DATA LEAD - GOVERNANCE AND COMPLIANCE – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Previous experience in a financial institution
• Technical expertise (SQL, Data Bricks, Alteryx)
• Working experience or knowledge of Purview
• Experience as a BSA or doing testing
• Creating and implementing data quality rules

• Lead data governance program delivery stream and manage priority datasets
• Conduct metadata, data quality, and data access management activities
• Organize and support regular Working Group meetings
• Manage relationships with stakeholders across various levels
• Provide data expertise to Capital Markets Front Office business leads
• Perform Data Capability Maturity Assessment with key stakeholders
• Lead strategy discussions for Data Management Expertise Areas
