Title: Capital Markets Manager The Capital Markets Manager will be responsible for leading the preparation and execution of the company’s financing transactions to support M&A and organic growth initiatives. The main focus will be the preparation and execution of complex financing transactions. The Capital Markets Manager will be active in an international environment supporting projects globally. This position reports to a Regional Director of Corporate Finance. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for creating a financing strategy including analyzing and optimizing the efficiency of funding solutions Responsible for the preparation and execution of financing transactions including: Lender strategy and communication Coordinating due diligence Coordinating relevant advisors Negotiating documentation Internal coordination Responsible for the transaction-related financial modeling as well as modeling to support other financing-related processes Support projects globally as well as supporting the development and execution of a mid and long-term financing strategy for the company Support the structuring and execution of derivative transactions Develop and maintain a strong relationship with lenders, investors and advisors while supporting the expansion of the global reach of the prospective partners pipeline Cooperate with Portfolio Management with regards to the management of the financing portfolio Contribute to building the Capital Markets function as well as the broader Treasury organization in close cooperation with internal stakeholders, such as FP&A, Accounting & Reporting and Treasury. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Self-starting professional with strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes and quality of deliverables Superb ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance and input from peers Strong process management skills including ability to manage multiple stakeholders Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover full scope of tasks required to ‘getting the job done.’ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Experience/Education 5+ years of relevant work experience Master’s degree in business economics or econometrics Structured / project finance knowledge and experience related to the financing of corporates, projects, or infrastructure (e.g. treasury, corporate finance or investment / wholesale banking) Strong knowledge and experience in financial modeling (including in Excel) and PowerPoint Experience in the Data Center industry, Construction, Energy Renewables or Real Estate environments a plus EdgeConneX believes inclusion – of thought, backgrounds and experiences – affects all that we do, from our employees to the solutions we deliver.
