Desired Qualifications:

  • Clear understanding of how capital markets work within a trading environment
  • Middle office support role and/or equivalent experience in supporting a derivative desk
  • Strong skill set of profit and loss attribution (Greek based PL), good understanding of derivative pricing, operational experience pertaining to capital market transactions, a conceptual understanding of CVA, DVA, FVA, Basel II and Basel III.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize while multi-tasking and the ability to work in a fast paced and consistently changing environment.
  • Detail-oriented and respond in a timely manner to ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Capital Markets Middle Office Associate as part of our Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Operations division. This role will be supporting the Credit Contingent Desk (CVA) and the Macro Structured Solutions Trading Desk.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in research and resolution of issues including, profit and loss generation, profit and loss attribution and trade capture
  • Identify opportunities to resolve complex confirmation and related trade issues
  • Review tactical business challenges related to complex derivative products
  • Receive direction from manager and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of procedures
  • Provide information to managers and the Capital Markets Middle Office
