Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based within the Investment Operations and Performance team and reporting to the Capital Markets Support Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of trade support to the Capital Markets team. You will be required to provide daily oversight, as well work with the broader business to facilitate and implement the decisions made by the Investment Services team.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of capital markets trades, oversight of collateral management, and delivery by the futures clearer to the custodian – all to time critical, complete and accurate standards.
  • Manage the delivery and reconciliation of OTC derivative trades to trade repositories to ensure compliance obligations are reliably met.
  • Design, prepare, test, plan and execute system tests so that the Capital Markets trading system delivers to the business requirements.
  • Consistently deliver optimal service through the provision of regular reporting and attending to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, and using structured commercial thinking, recommend efficiencies that may improve current practices.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and assurance providers.
  • Manage or provide key technical input to business projects with an outcome orientated focus.
  • Assist in the on-boarding of new investments / investment managers in line with agreed delivery and reporting timeframes.
