The Project Engineer is responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from concept through production within thermoforming and plastic packaging operations. This includes new product launches, process improvements, equipment installation, and cost reduction initiatives. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project management ability, and cross-functional collaboration to meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.

• Lead and manage cross-functional projects from design through implementation.
• Support new product development, tooling, and equipment installation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (manufacturing, quality, sales, design) and external vendors.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for new initiatives.
• Assist with plant layout planning, workflow optimization, and process improvements.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices.
• Participate in lean manufacturing, sustainability, and continuous improvement efforts.
