ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not a behind-the-desk engineering position. As Capital Project Engineer, you’ll be on the plant floor leading large-scale projects that drive automation, efficiency, and infrastructure improvements. You’ll manage the full project cycle—from design and budgeting to procurement and implementation—while ensuring smooth coordination across operations, maintenance, and leadership teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead facility and equipment upgrades including packaging lines, automation, refrigeration, and warehousing projects
• Oversee design, budgeting, procurement, and execution of capital projects
• Manage construction vendors, contractors, and project timelines
• Develop CAD drawings and engineering documentation for installations and layout changes
• Implement systems for mixing, pumping, conveying, and filling across RTE lines
• Identify and address infrastructure needs to support long-term efficiency and food safety
• Train internal teams on new equipment and integrate preventive maintenance plans
• Maintain strict budget control and ensure project documentation accuracy
