  Our client is seeking a skilled and driven Project Engineer to join our team in the industrial chemical manufacturing sector, supporting both continuous and batch processing operations. This position will focus on the execution of capital projects across our facilities, encompassing mechanical, civil, and structural engineering elements.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment leading capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Demonstrated experience in Mechanical Integrity related to pressure vessels, piping systems, rotating equipment, and structural components.
• Ensure all engineering designs and installations comply with applicable mechanical integrity standards, codes, and company safety policies.
• Proven track record in capital project execution involving multidisciplinary engineering scopes.

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with 10+ years of mechanical integrity experience in a specialty chemical manufacturing plant environment
• Background with various boiler/power generation systems (steam, electric, gas)
• Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within a reasonable amount of time
• PMP certification or formal project management training.
