Description Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor to ensure that the assigned production line (mixing through packaging) delivers the scheduled volume of production while achieving quality and efficiency goals; it is imperative that that this leader maintain the pace required and is aware of the workflow of the bakery. Responsible for training, coaching and helping team members solve problems. Requirements · Coordinates the work of approximately 20 team members in all areas of the production line · Acts as the “subject matter expert” for end-to-end bakery operations · Coaches, trains, and ultimately drives retention of team members · Assists shift supervisor in creating weekly production schedule; ensures the adherence to the schedule. · Maintains line compliance with all Food and Employee safety measures · Collaborates with maintenance, sanitation, quality, IT for resolving any issue on the line · Coordinates the work activities, placement and training of Line Leads & Team Members on the shift. · Fosters effective communication and relationships with machine leaders and other team members. · Meet the company set standards for quality, yield, OEE, labor hours and down time. · Develop and implement ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste for the production line. Encourage and provide ideas for continual improvement within the operation of the line. · Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area by following GMPs, Team Member Safety and Food Safety & Defense Policies.
