Ute Pass Regional Health Service District is seeking a full-time Operations Shift Captain to serve as a key leader within our evolving organization. This position plays a critical role in leading shift operations, developing personnel, and supporting the District’s transition into UPRHSD 2.0. The ideal candidate is a self-driven, adaptable, and people-centered leader who can balance operational excellence with forward-thinking innovation. This is not a static role. With the District currently in a period of growth and transformation, this position will actively contribute to shaping the future of our organizational structure, culture, and leadership model. Important Note on Role Evolution: The selected candidate will initially operate under the current Operations Captain job description. However, UPRHSD is actively working through a comprehensive organizational redesign and job description formalization process. The individual selected for this role may: - Contribute to refining and defining the future scope of the position - Help identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities within the leadership structure - Play an active role in building what “Operations Captain” looks like in UPRHSD 2.0 This requires a leader who is comfortable with change, ambiguity, and building while moving forward.
