Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. DESCRIPTION The iOS Car Experience team gives customers smarter, safer ways to use iPhone in the car. We craft solutions like CarPlay and Do Not Disturb While Driving, and we also partner with a broad multi-functional team inside Apple to deliver experiences such as digital car key. We work hand-in-hand with automakers worldwide to integrate features into nearly every new vehicle shipping today, features that drivers love and use every day. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated developer with experience in application or framework development to design and develop in-vehicle Apple experiences of the future. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent job-related experience. 3 years of object-oriented programming experience in Objective-C or Swift PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS UI programming experience in UIKit or SwiftUI Creativity and passion for design Comfortable with a large code base, dynamic working environments, and tight schedules Strong debugging and analytical skills Experience developing multi-threaded and/or multi-process systems using IPC is beneficial Experience developing software with any of the following frameworks is a plus: CarPlay, CoreLocation, CoreMedia, MediaPlayer

Responsibilities

Design and develop in-vehicle Apple experiences, including CarPlay and digital car key solutions. Collaborate with multi-functional teams and global automakers to integrate features into new vehicles.
