JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in a dealership setting being highly preferred. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively. Mainly working on Japanese brand vehicles.

SKILLS

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems.
  • Experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to automotive repair.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s needs, providing exceptional customer service throughout the repair process.
