Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are a locally owned and operated automotive repair shop in San Antonio looking to hire a skilled Automotive Technician with experience in engine and transmission replacement. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and capable of working on various makes and models.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, remove, and install engines and transmissions
• Perform general automotive repairs across multiple vehicle brands
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Communicate effectively with team members and shop owner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in engine and transmission replacement (required)
• Familiarity with various vehicle makes and models
• ASE Certification is a plus, but not required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and honesty are essential
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Personal tools are a plus
