Job Title: Car Rental Sales Agent
Location: Heathrow / West Drayton
Hours: 40 hours per week. Paid overtime available. 5/7 day shift pattern, Monday to Sunday (annualised hours)
Salary: £25,000 Basic + Commission Scheme. OTE £35,000 - £40,000 pa
Other: Previous customer facing sales experience in the Car Hire Sector or Motor Trade required - minimum 1 years experience
This is a CUSTOMER FACING role. Rental Sales Agents are the face of the company and are responsible in ensuring our customers enjoy the experience and benefits of hiring with Green Motion. A Rental Sales Agent is also responsible for delivering excellent admin and inspecting hire vehicles. Green Motion Heathrow services inbound Heathrow Airport flights, and is therefore open 7 days per week from 6am – 11pm. Rental Sales Agents must be able to work weekend, early, mid and late shifts within these hours. This is NOT a Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm role. This position requires a motivated, customer focused sales-person, with an eye for detail and who thrives on working in a fast pace environment. We are looking for team players.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Delivering excellent customer service
• Processing documentation and producing rental contracts in-line with hiring rules
• Sales of incremental products to enhance the customers hire experience such as vehicle upgrades and reduced waiver options
• Expertly communicating important information to customers before they drive away
• Inspecting and recording vehicle condition
• Handling challenging customer communication and complaints professionally and expertly
• Completing daily tasks such as fleet inventory, customer email replies, and maintaining office and site standards

SPECIFIC CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21+ and have a full driver’s licence for no less than 2 years
• Previous customer facing assisted sales experience required, car rental or similar industry is an advantage
• Must be flexible across a 7 day week and all shift options
• Must be a strong communicator
• Must have an appetite to learn and succeed
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to multi-task
