Competitive hourly rate + uncapped incentives Boost your income with our performance-based incentive program Six weeks’ employer-paid parental leave (in addition to government entitlements) Ongoing training and career development opportunities Global brand opportunities across AU/NZ and beyond Referral bonuses and exclusive employee discounts (Calm, Accor All Heartists program, flu vaccinations & more!) 24/7 wellbeing support via EAP and the Calm App Some of the key responsibilities include: Greet and assist customers in renting vehicles as based on their preferences and needs Process rental agreements accurately and efficiently Promote and upsell additional products and services Address customer inquires and concerns promptly and professionally, with a service first approach Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets Inspect vehicles before and after rental periods, noting any damages Maintain knowledge of current promotions, services, and products to assist with sales efforts Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals Conduct damage inspection of all returning vehicles; and any outgoing vehicles, to retain customer peace of mind and overall satisfaction Checking the vehicles for roadworthiness and ensuring appropriate oil levels and tyre pressure is consistently maintained Checking for any chips on the windscreens and checking for any panel damage or any other general wear and tear on the vehicle To be considered, you should possess: Previous experience in sales, customer service or retail Car rental experience is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset Confident using computer systems and technology Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Flexibility to work on a rotating shift roster - 7 day shift work including weekends and public holidays Valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record Full working rights in New Zealand (current and ongoing) A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude! Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: “If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?”. His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need. In 1951, l’Abonnement Automobile was the first company for car rental without a driver and its fleet counted 750 4 CV. Responsibilities

Greet customers and manage the rental process, including processing agreements and upselling additional products. Conduct thorough pre- and post-rental vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and document damages.
