A Car Sales Associate, or Auto Sales Representative, is responsible for selling cars, trucks and vans for personal and commercial use. Their duties include meeting with customers to discuss their needs, promoting sales offers at their dealership and participating in test drives with interested customers. Drivers license At least 1 year of car sales experience Social media savvy What you’ll do Car Sales Associates are responsible for making customers feel welcome and supported through the car-purchasing process. Responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the customer, but usually include the following tasks: Greet customers arriving at the dealership Show case the dealership's vehicles and explain their features and warranties to customers Answer customer questions about cars, financing and purchase process in-person and by phone. Collect customer information and documentation Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers' vehicles Contact fresh and past leads, follow-up calls, text & email sequences Daily activities that include social media presence and outbound calls to previous customers to request referrals and repeat business Qualifications Bilingual proficiency English and Spanish required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport. Prior experience in a sales, customer service, or retail environment preferred but not required. High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work Saturdays and Weekdays. Must have valid Drivers License.
