JOB OVERVIEW

The Used Car Sales Assistant supports the sales team in the day-to-day operations of a used car dealership. This role involves assisting customers with vehicle inquiries, preparing cars for display, handling administrative tasks, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a passion for automobiles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry in a sales capacity is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Photography skill is preferred (vehicle photo)

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Support the sales team in presenting vehicles to potential buyers.
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom and cars
  • Assist in photographing and uploading vehicles to online listings.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing documents, data entry, and updating records.
  • Arrange test drives and ensure vehicles are clean and fueled.
  • Monitor inventory and report any issues or shortages to the sales manager.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the dealership’s vehicle inventory.
  • Support marketing campaigns and promotions when needed.
