Description

As a Car Sales Manager, you oversees the operations and success of a car dealership’s sales team. Their primary responsibility is to drive profitability by increasing vehicle sales, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of sales executives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
  • Monitor the sales team’s performance, providing guidance and motivation.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for increased sales.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to improve performance.
  • Set individual and team targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Address and resolve conflicts within the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
  • Manage escalated customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.

Inventory and Pricing:

  • Coordinate with inventory managers to ensure an adequate supply of vehicles.
  • Work on pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor and manage aged inventory to reduce losses.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Prepare detailed sales reports for senior management.
  • Track and analyze KPIs, such as conversion rates and sales growth.
  • Forecast future sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaboration:

  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Liaise with finance teams for pricing, leasing, and loan programs.
  • Coordinate with aftersales teams to ensure customer follow-up.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not always required).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in automotive sales, with at least 2–5 years in a management role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales software.

Other Requirements:

  • Russian Speaker
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry, including vehicle specifications and financing options.
  • A valid driver’s license.
