An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 (CNC2) within the well-established Haematology Department, Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse with a background in Haematology and/or Cellular therapy Nursing to join our multidisciplinary team.

The role of the CAR-T Coordinator is to promote best practice and ensure that patients undergoing immune cellular therapies receive safe, coordinated, and evidence-based care across their entire treatment journey. The CAR-T Coordinator will work closely with the inpatient and outpatient teams within RNSH and external stakeholders to provide a comprehensive, seamless and specialised service.
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2 (CNC2) position is to lead and coordinate the nursing component of the CAR-T and Immune Effector Cells (IEC) therapy program by:
The CAR-T Coordinator is required to work collaboratively with a wide multidisciplinary team including haematologists, ICU staff, pharmacy, allied health, apheresis, laboratory, and research teams. The CAR-T Coordinator must fulfil the five domains of clinical nurse consultancy.
