We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, mechanical knowledge, and effective communication skills to interact with customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate a 7.5t beavertail transporter with transport trailer for the delivery of customer and dealer vehicles
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of vehicles
• Input Proof and Collection and Proof of Delivery
• Notifying and logging any damage on vehicles
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform minor mechanical maintenance as needed.
• Communicate effectively with office personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Follow rule and regulations for use of tacho graph
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Monday to Friday (Optional weekends)

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver in a similar transport role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
• Valid commercial driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
