Responsibilities
  • You will be the first point of contact for our service; offering an exceptional level of customer service to ensure our customers experience is a positive one.
  • Processing applications for a Caravan Licences.
  • Maintaining and upkeep all records and systems accurately and efficiently, both manual and computerised.
  • Maintain an effective communications with customers, staff, and members of the public, including Elected Members, Town and Parish Councils etc.
  • Inputting and update complaints on the computerised systems used within the department within determined deadlines.
  • Assisting in the administration of orders and payment of invoices.
  • Extracting and compile statistical information as required from either (or both) manual and computerised records.
  • Filing, photocopying and other general office duties.
  • Dealing with personal, written and telephone enquiries and complaints and recording as appropriate.
  • Processing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Type letters and memo’s as required.
  • Assist the Caravan Licensing Officers in the course of investigations.
    We are seeking a forward-thinking, confident person who has excellent communication skills, (both written and oral) and with a high regard for accuracy and attention to detail. You will be able to adapt to a face-paced environment and have the ability to use your own initiative. You will be a competent IT user with familiarity of word, excel and email. Previous experience of working in an office environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
