Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE - CARBON CONSULTANTS.

If you are passionate about enabling evidence led action on climate change, making a significant impact on decarbonizing the built environment and influencing outcomes with a broad variety of stakeholders this is your role. You are comfortable with carbon across a broad range of projects at a variety of asset life cycle stages.
As a Carbon Consultant you play a key role in the delivery of project and advisory commissions and excellence in delivery. You will have the ability to organize and manage the delivery of multiple concurrent projects. You enjoy collaborating with other members of the team to achieve high quality, engaging, innovative reports and carbon advice.
As a member of the Carbon Advisory team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the GM to advance innovative modes of engagement with our diverse internal and external client stakeholders. Collaboration with other TSA project and advisory sector consultants to advance the integration of carbon mitigation across project life cycles is also a business goal to achieve.
In addition to project work, your expertise and knowledge of cost planning will contribute to the continuous development of our GreenBook and FootprintCalculator™ database – in collaboration with the Data Science team.
Your project expertise and knowledge will assist and contribute to the advancement of our carbon benchmarks and insights work including collaborating with the Communications team to publish insights.

ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:

  • Client project delivery, to meet timelines and budgets with excellence.
  • Engage with Clients and or teams in innovative and engaging project results and options.
  • Support the GM in the preparation of client proposals and tender submissions.
  • Work with the Data and Technical team on the continuous improvement of data and systems to maintain software leadership for Footprint Carbon products.
  • Broad engagement with clients across a variety of forms (e.g. meetings / workshops etc) for data collection, evaluation, reduction and Net Zero planning;
  • Contribute to thought leadership and insights through development of case studies or analysis for publication and communications.
