Full Training Available The Role This is a very important position within the abattoir sector. We provide an independent service in the classification of animal carcases. Experience is not needed as we provide full training and support with the opportunity to achieve a certification license, but experience in the industry is desirable. We are Meat Livestock Classification Ltd (MLC) and we are looking for someone to join our Carcase Services Team. Once training is completed, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, weighing, and classifying beef carcases within an abattoir. Key responsibilities Operating specialist classification equipment Recording data accurately and within specified timescales Abiding by industry wide standards of classification (EUROP) Establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with the customer, paying attention to customer care and the promotion of MLC’s classification service Completing the required documentation in an accurate and timely manner Representing the company in a professional manner.
