The Card Services Manager is a hands-on leadership role, that directs the daily operations of the Card Service department. This includes oversight of all card programs, ensuring operational accuracy and regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional member service. Key responsibilities include: · Be the go-to expert on systems, policies and procedures related to card services · Manage account research, escalated disputes and service issues, member and internal support, and operational reporting · Resolve member needs and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy · Identify enhancements in daily operations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and improved member experience · Oversee the installation and implementation of department-related operating systems and enhancements · Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to card service department staff to elevate performance and align operations with organizational goals · Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality member service and operational excellence What you’ll bring: · 3 – 5 years of similar or related experience; supervisory experience preferred · A significant level of trust and diplomacy, as this position has extensive personal contact with members, and can be of a sensitive nature · Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills · Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team · Strong understanding of financial regulations, project management, and vendor management Position details: · This is a full-time role, on-site at our Lewiston Operations Center · This role is eligible for our remote benefit (1 day/week) · The Card Services Manager reports to our Chief Operations Officer, and has two direct reports Why join Dirigo: · Supportive and adaptive leadership, with room for growth within a mission-driven organization · We embrace the “people helping people” philosophy of credit unions, and are united by making a difference within the lives of our members and communities · Benefits include health/dental/vision insurances, retirement plans, disability coverage, and HSA contributions for enrolled participants · PTO begins as 22 days, with 11 paid holidays
