Description Role: The Card Services Support Specialist contributes to the driving force behind excellence and precision of our credit union back-office operations. Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Embodies the highest standards of quality by ensuring an efficient and accurate process that delivers on our promise of superb member experience Major Duties and Responsibilities · Address member concerns (internal/external queries) and research/resolve inquiries · Assist with incoming calls · Assist with setting up auto payment · Completing member insight tickets and email requests · Assist with balance transfer requests · Order and close out Debit/Credit Card accounts · Assist with new card account validation · Review quality assurance reports · Work Debit Card exception report postings · Prepare monthly charge off report for collection department · Process return Visa payments as needed · Assist with Manage Card issues · Open tickets with Velera to assist with resolutions from inquiries as needed · Process loss/stolen reports and rejects · Review of new Visa account report for accuracy · Review and post FDR payment exception report · Complete Visa denial report · Assist with deceased member coding · Assist with keying Debit Card rejects for accounting · Research for out of balance VISA GL settlement · Work return check deposits from ATM’s · Create profiles for quick assist · Complete manual address report · Supports the organization with contributions to special projects and other duties as assigned · Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve operational issues and identify process improvements to help optimize workflows. Other Duties · Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control · Exhibit Blaze’s Core Values: Better Lives, Thoughtfully Compassionate, Minnesota’s Best, and Give Back · Regular and predictable attendance · Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation Requirements Experience/Education/Certifications/Licenses · Minimum High School degree or equivalent · Minimum 1-2 years of card services experience preferred Demonstrated Knowledge · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products · Detail oriented · Basic math skills Communication Skills Ability to proactively respond to members/staff to problem solve based on guidelines; written communications are based on templates but can be modified. The salary range for this position is: $25.20-$29.50/hour. This range reflects the base salary for this position. We have other benefits associated with this position which include: low-cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401k contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
