Job Description: Fitzroy location Challenging and rewarding work environment Parental Leave Fixed Term position (24 hours a fortnight) immediate start until 20/6/2027 About the Role The Grade 2 RN will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care within the cardiac cath lab under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager. You will also be responsible for ensuring own professional development, including clinical skills and knowledge, in order to successfully deliver a safe, empathetic and exceptional procedural experience to our patients in this niche nursing role. Supports the physical and emotional safety of patients throughout their procedural journey Scout and scrub for all cardiac procedures such as angiograms, PCI, pacing, cardiac biopsy and structural heart. Participate in on-call duties within 40 minutes outside business hours. Participate in department education and meetings Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum). The unit functions as part of a multidisciplinary team that offers a wide range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional services. The unit operates Monday to Friday, with a 24 hour on-call service.
