Post holder will work collaboratively within teams both in the Cath Labs, between the Cardiology wards both at CHH, HRI and the tertiary centres to facilitate smooth patient flow. Staff management responsibilities will also be required and supported in the development and teaching of this will be provided and encouraged. For example, undertaking annual appraisals, return to work meetings, sickness reviews and organisation change.
Inter-professional working is required to build and maintain good working relationships amongst the different staff groups in the department. Attending the 642 meeting to work alongside the Operations, waiting list and pre-assessment Nursing teams will also be required. The post holder will be expected to deputise alongside their Day Ward counterpart for the Band 7 during periods of leave and escalate appropriately to the Cardiology Matron or Nurse Directors as required
