Our Best Starts with You!
We get it. Every company says their people matter but at Advara HeartCare, you really do. Because whatever your role here, you are our impact and you are our future.
A unique opportunity is available to gain experience and broad exposure in Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiology in a regional centre across the public and private sector.
Tho role will encompass general cardiology (acute, inpatient and outpatient) plus high-volume echocardiography including TTE, exercise stress echo, dobutamine stress echo, TOE, as well as contrast echo. The service provides a busy inpatient and outpatient service with rapid turnaround reporting and clinical input into decision making in a close-knit multi-speciality hospital. The service provides over 5000 echo services per year (including over 500 stress echo services) and gives the candidate the opportunity to advance their TOE and stress echo skills and reporting to independently practice to CSANZ standards. In addition, our network can provide exposure to CTCA in Australia’s only cardiology-run national CTCA service, with progression towards Level A ANZCTCA certification for motivated individuals and involvement in local and national case review meetings and working groups.
Further to this the location affords an enviable lifestyle in coastal Queensland with excellent work-life balance and an attractive remuneration package.
The position would suit a post-FRACP cardiologist looking for further training in cardiac imaging or eligible overseas trained cardiologists seeking experience in the Australian healthcare system or requiring supervised/peer review practice as per RACP (substantially comparable candidates); subject to approval.
