Ward: Cardiology Suite
Pay Rates: £22.99 per hour exc WTD
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting various cardiac tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in conducting cardiac diagnostic tests and procedures.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations related to cardiac testing and research.
  • Ability to monitor patients effectively during cardiac procedures.
  • Experience with microscopy techniques for detailed analysis.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools like R, Python, and SAS for research purposes.
    In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of

    · Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
    This is part of Regulation 22 and we want to ensure we give candidates the heads up to have their qualifications ready to prevent delays when we onboard at Trust ID stage.
Responsibilities

· To undertake a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac investigations independently.
· Document findings/write accurate reports on diagnostic investigations in accordance with departmental protocols, seeking guidance from senior colleagues where appropriate.
· Interpret data and physiologic variables and alerts senior colleagues or clinicians to abnormalities within an appropriate timescale to maintain patient safety
· Work proactively and conscientiously within the Cardiac Physiology team. Day to day supervision and training of more junior physiologists & cardiographers under the guidance of the senior colleagues.
