Job Description: • Fitzroy • Friendly and supportive team environment • Permanent, Part Time, (16 hours per week) About the Role You have exemplary skills in one or more of the major specialities of cardiac sonography (echocardiography) / interventional & structural heart procedures / cardiac rhythm management. Depending on your experience and skills. Perform transthoracic echocardiography for the patient population referred to St Vincent’s Cardiac Services. Assist in the performance of all facets of cardiac rhythm management and invasive electrophysiology services Provision of haemodynamic monitoring, preparation of medical equipment and assistance in the performance of both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures for the patient population of St Vincent’s Hospital Classifications for this position will range from SO57 - SO60 Grade 3 Sonographer ($104,135.20 - $118,981.20 per annum pro rata). A Grade 2 Sonographer may also be considered. Classifications for this position will range from SO554 - SO56 Grade 2 Sonographer ($84,872.80 - $94,374.80 per annum pro rata). Your Contribution Cardiac Sonographers require to be fully accredited with ASAR Grade 3 CRM staff require IBHRE Diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Cardiac Physiologist with greater than five years’ experience is preferred. Participate and be flexible with rostered shifts, the ‘on-call’ roster and have reliable attendance Current National Criminal History Check or agreement to obtain at own expense.
