Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Gainesville, Florida. This is a most urgent opening within a progressive, financially stable hospital system for nurses who have recent acute care experience and are comfortable supporting cardiac and medical-surgical patients. POSITION OVERVIEW The Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN provides patient-centered nursing care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support. This role includes assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. SCHEDULE • Days or nights available with rotating weekends • 12-hour shifts • Days 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $30.00 to $43.20 based on experience • Night differential $4.25/hr • Weekend differential $3.00/hr KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Collect and analyze patient assessment data • Identify nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes • Develop and implement individualized care plans • Advocate for patient safety and quality care • Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes • Ensure effective use of time, supplies, and equipment WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • MOST URGENT opening • Cardiac telemetry and Med-Surg patient mix • Stable hospital system with strong clinical support • 12-hour shift structure • Opportunity for growth within acute care nursing BENEFITS • Health insurance • Dental and vision insurance • Life insurance • Long-term and short-term disability • Health savings account • 401k with 100 percent match on 3 to 9 percent based on years of service • Paid time off • Relocation assistance available Requirements • Must have 1 year of recent acute care RN experience • Acute care experience must be within the last 2 years per recruiter guidance • Registered Nurse required • Nursing Diploma required • Basic Life Support required within 30 days of employment start date • ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date • Ability to work day or night shifts with rotating weekends • Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and patient education skills required Not ready to formally apply?
