About the Centre The Centre's secondary care services including muscle, bone and joint, orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, dermatology, cardiac, musculoskeletal, spinal, and urology, ENT, and will be able to perform simple procedures onsite. The centre provides rapid-access to numerous specialities, and is operational Monday to Friday 8:00am to 20:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am to 14:00pm . How you'll make things happen: We are seeking an enthusiastic Cardiology Assistant to join our newly launched Cardiology service. You will play a key role in supporting both clinical and administrative operations, working closely with Consultants and the wider team to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic tests such as 12-lead ECG, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure. Assist in triage appointments and manage patient pathways. Record and interpret ECG results, escalating abnormalities as required. Carry out venepuncture and basic clinical observations. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality. Support Consultants with clinic preparation and coordination. Monitor equipment, stock levels, and ensure infection control standards. Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to continuous improvement. You will have the following : Essential: A-level qualification or equivalent. Venepuncture/cannulation skills. Experience performing ECGs and working in a healthcare assistant or health advisor role. Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach. Desirable: Healthcare-related degree.
