We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Interventional Fellow with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, research, and teamwork. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications & Training – MBBS or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia, and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
  • Clinical Skills & Experience – Proven clinical competence with experience aligned to a recognised undergraduate medical program.
  • Professional & Personal Attributes – Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with a commitment to quality improvement and adaptability to change.
  • Knowledge & Understanding – Sound knowledge of patient rights, medico-legal responsibilities, and the ability to effectively use relevant digital tools.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team as a Cardiology Interventional Fellow, where you will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge invasive cardiac procedures. This role offers exceptional training in coronary angiography, angioplasty, and structural heart interventions under the expert guidance of our Consultant staff. You will be actively involved in postgraduate hospital activities, contributing to both clinical excellence and research innovation in Cardiology. This is a unique opportunity to refine your procedural skills while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
As part of this role, you will have limited clinical responsibilities but will play a key part in ongoing patient care, encompassing both basic and advanced cardiology practice. You will gain exposure to high-acuity cases across The Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, ensuring a well-rounded experience in both tertiary and secondary care settings.
